Public outreach and community involvement is one of the most important jobs States and lead Federal agencies have when working on remediation projects. Outreach and looking at ways to engage our communities in meaningful community participation during the life cycle of our projects is essential. Due to COVID-19, we have had to shift ways to engage the public and in-person public meetings may not be possible. This challenge has led to innovation on using different platforms and tools on how to perform engagement remotely.
