This year’s meeting theme is Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG). Environmental considers factors such as waste and pollution, and sustainability; Social considerations can encompass working conditions, and local communities; factors under Governance include corporate leadership structure and practices. In addition to opening remarks and plenary sessions focused on the theme of the meeting, each of ASTSWMO’s program Subcommittees will be hosting breakout sessions and roundtables.

ASTSMWO Gives Back

The Family & Youth Initiative is the October 2021 Annual Meeting Recipient for ASTSWMO Gives Back!

The Family & Youth Initiative is a caring supportive community of adults and teens, and the only DC area organization focused exclusively on helping teens in foster care make lifelong connections with caring adults. The work that they do is vital and ASTSWMO is excited to support them this year!

Even if you are only attending the Annual meeting virtually you can still donate online.

On the DCFYI donation page, there is a question “Why did you decide to give to DCFYI today?”.

We can track any donations that come in with mention of the ASTSWMO meeting or ASTSWMO Gives Back!
