ASTSWMO Program Subcommittees/Committees and their Task Forces or Focus Groups (hereafter collectively referred to as Task Forces) conduct much of the Association’s work including but not limited to conducting research, developing written work products, planning, and executing conferences, workshops, and other meetings, and proposing ASTSWMO policy positions.
Subcommittees are established by the President with the approval of the Board of Directors and are formed around specific environmental program areas represented by ASTSWMO. Each Program Subcommittee consists of a Subcommittee Chair and the Chairs and Vice-Chairs of their Task Forces.
The Subcommittee Chair is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient coordination among their Task Forces.
